Television Malta (TVM) is the national television network of Malta. TVM is operated by public broadcasting services Ltd (PBS). PBS AG is in State hands. TVM broadcasts a mix of news, sports, entertainment, magazine programming and children's programmes. It is financed by a Government grant and commercial advertising. The majority of the programmes on TVM broadcast produced externally of PBS. PBS released information on the types of programmes it wishes on TVM and production companies broadcast offers PBS with a detailed report on its proposal for the program.
Broadcast most programs in Maltese, but the Maltese speak both Maltese and English, as English does, especially in BBC and ITV title. Sunday classic British comedy are dedicated, and English-language films are shown on Saturday night.

The English language feed of Euronews is also daily broadcast.
In October 2011, PBS announced another overhaul of TVM mark 50 years since the founding of Malta television service mark in 2012. The new branding is a tribute to former TVM identities and uses the Maltese cross, the strong features in the new L-Aħbarijiet title sequence.
A new programme scheme was announced, including an increased number of newscasts and a new current affairs led breakfast show.
